Expansion of Proverbs 3:5-6

Trust in the Lord:

Whoever trusts in his riches will fall, but the righteous will flourish like a green leaf. Prov 11:28,

Whoever gives thought to the word will discover good, and blessed is he who trusts in the Lord. Prov 16:20,

He trusts in God; let God deliver him now, if he desires him. For he said, ‘I am the Son of God.’ Matt 27:43

With all your Heart:

Keep your heart with all vigilance, for from it flow the springs of life. Prov 4:23,

As in water face reflects face, so the heart of man reflects the man. Prov 27:19,

Search me, O God, and know my heart! Try me and know my thoughts! And see if there be any grievous way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting! Ps 139:23-24,

Behold, I will throw her onto a sickbed, and those who commit adultery with her I will throw into great tribulation, unless they repent of her works, and I will strike her children dead. And all the churches will know that I am he who searches mind and heart, and I will give to each of you according to your works. Rev 2:22-23

And lean not on your own Understanding:

Whoever is slow to anger has great understanding, but he who has a hasty temper exalts folly. Prov 14:29,

How much better to get wisdom than gold! To get understanding is to be chosen rather than silver. Prov16:16,

And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Phil 4:7,

And we know that the Son of God has come and has given us understanding, so that we may know him who is true; and we are in him who is true, in his Son Jesus Christ. He is the true God and eternal life.1 Jn 5:20

In all your Ways:

Her feet go down to death; her steps follow the path to Sheol; she does not ponder the path of life; her ways wander, and she does not know it. And now, O sons, listen to me, and do not depart from the words of my mouth. Keep your way far from her, and do not go near the door of her house. Prov 5:5-8,

The plans of the heart belong to man, but the answer of the tongue is from the Lord. All the ways of a man are pure in his own eyes, but the Lord weighs the spirit. Commit your work to the Lord, and your plans will be established. Prov 16:1-3

The heart of man plans his way, but the Lord establishes his steps. Prov 16:9

Those of crooked heart are an abomination to the Lord, but those of blameless ways are his delight. Prov 11:20

Acknowledge Him:

Through him then let us continually offer up a sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of lips that acknowledge his name. Heb 13:15

And He will direct your Paths:

Put away from you crooked speech, and put devious talk far from you. Let your eyes look directly forward, and your gaze be straight before you. Ponder the path of your feet; then all your ways will be sure. Do not swerve to the right or to the left; turn your foot away from evil. Prov 4:24-27,

The path of life leads upward for the prudent, that he may turn away from Sheol beneath. Prov 15:24
