The Covenant of Law does not annul the Covenant of Grace

1. The Mosaic Covenant

Exodus 19: 1-9 God makes a covenant through Moses to the people He brought out of Egypt.
19-22 God requires the people to stay back because of His Holiness. Even the priests must be dedicated a certain way.
Exodus 20: 3-17 The Ten Commandments
20:20-21 The Fear of God the reason for the commandments.

Exodus 24: 4-8 Moses wrote down the commands of God.
a. The people understood the Word of God.
b. The people agreed to obey the Word of God.
c. The covenant was sealed with the blood of a sacrifice.

24:17-18 Moses sees the Glory of the Lord in the cloud that descended on Sinai

Exodus 34: 5-8 The Lord proclaims His Name and Moses worships!
34:29,34-35 Moses’ face shone with the glory of God every time he spoke with Him.

2. The New Covenant

Galatians 3:16-18 Renewal of the Covenant of Grace

2 Corinthians 3:3 Replacement of the Ten Commandments with a law written on hearts
3:4-6 The Letter kills! (Benjamin summed up, “You sin, You die.”)
3:10-12 The New Covenant is more glorious than the shining of Moses’ face!
3:16-18 When we repent God changes us to be like Him!
